localStorageand is never transmitted to our servers. - Co-op session data — if you use the Co-op feature, a temporary peer-to-peer connection is established directly between your device and your partner's device using WebRTC. We do not store, log, or have access to any data exchanged during a co-op session.
2. Information We Do Not Collect
We do not collect, store, or transmit:
- Your name, email address, or any personal identifiers
- Account credentials (there is no account system)
- Location data
- Device identifiers or advertising IDs
- Payment information
3. Local Storage
Gym Bud uses your browser's
localStorage
to save your workout history, preferences, and session state. This data is stored only on your device and is not accessible to us. You can clear this data at any time by clearing your browser's site data for this domain.
4. Co-op Feature & Third-Party Services
The Co-op workout feature uses PeerJS to establish a direct peer-to-peer connection between two devices. PeerJS uses a signaling server to initiate connections. While no workout content passes through their servers, your IP address may be visible to PeerJS signaling infrastructure during connection setup. Please review PeerJS's privacy policy for details.
5. Cookies
